We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our growing organization as the Area Sales Manager. The Role: Area Sales Manager (ASM) The Area Sales Manager is a pivotal field-based role responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration of the Feed Additive Division portfolio within the Faisalabad/Sahiwal territory. This role primarily involves promoting nutritional products, supplements, and feed premixes to feed mills, poultry integrators, dairy farms, and major feed distributors. The ASM is accountable for achieving defined revenue and market share objectives, managing the area's sales team, and maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development: Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and collection targets for the Feed Additive product line in the assigned region. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize coverage of key clients, including feed mill owners, large poultry/dairy integrators, and nutritional consultants. Product Detailing: Promote and detail the technical benefits of feed additives (e.g., enzymes, prebiotics, probiotics, amino acids, mycotoxin binders) to nutritionists and technical teams at client sites. Distributor Management: Manage and optimize the distribution channel for feed additives, ensuring efficient supply, inventory control, and timely collection of payments. Technical Consultation & Client Relationship: Technical Support: Serve as the primary technical resource for clients, addressing inquiries related to product application, feed formulation compatibility, and nutritional benefits. Build Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and technical personnel within client organizations. Market Intelligence: Systematically gather and analyze market intelligence on competitor feed additives, pricing strategies, and emerging nutritional trends in the local feed industry. Team Leadership & Administration: Team Supervision: Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Area/Technical Sales Representatives, ensuring high levels of motivation, product knowledge, and sales effectiveness. Field Coaching: Conduct regular joint field visits to coach the team on effective detailing, negotiation, and closing techniques. Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and expense reports for submission to the Regional Sales Manager. Required Qualifications & Experience Qualification: D.V.M. (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine), BS Poultry Science, BS Animal Science, or M.Phil Animal Nutrition is required. Experience: 3–4 years experience in a relevant field (Field Sales/Sales Management), preferably within the Feed Additive, Animal Nutrition, or Veterinary Pharmaceutical industry. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of animal nutrition, feed formulation principles, and the role of various feed additives in poultry, dairy, and livestock health/production. Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Faisalabad/Sahiwal Region. Mobility: Must possess the ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
