The Role: National Sales Manager (ASIFAC Brands)
The National Sales Manager is a crucial leadership position responsible for directing and executing the national sales strategy for the ASIFAC Brands across Pakistan. Based in Multan, this role encompasses driving sales growth, managing a high-performing national team, fostering strong relationships with key national distributors and clients, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious sales and market share objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Sales Execution:
Develop National Strategy: Design, implement, and lead the comprehensive national sales strategy for ASIFAC Brands, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and market opportunities.
Target Achievement: Take full accountability for achieving national sales, revenue, and profitability targets for the assigned product lines.
Key Account Management (KAM): Personally manage relationships with the largest national distributors, high-volume integrators, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the veterinary and poultry/livestock sectors.
Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop accurate national sales forecasts, manage the sales budget effectively, and analyze performance against projections to implement corrective actions proactively.
Team Management & Development:
Recruitment & Training: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing national sales team, including Regional Managers and Technical Sales Officers.
Performance Management: Set clear performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and motivation to maximize team productivity and professional development.
Field Coaching: Spend significant time in the field, traveling to different regions to provide direct coaching, observe market trends, and assist the team with complex sales and negotiations.
Market Analysis & Business Intelligence:
Market Insights: Continuously monitor and analyze national market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes in the veterinary pharmaceutical space.
Product Launch: Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Technical teams on new product launches for ASIFAC Brands, ensuring effective execution, training, and sales uptake nationwide.
Reporting: Provide detailed, analytical weekly and monthly sales reports to senior management, highlighting key successes, challenges, and strategic next steps.
Required Qualifications
Education: A professional degree is mandatory: DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine), BS Animal Sciences, or BS Poultry Science.
Experience:
5 to 10 years of progressive experience in sales management within the Veterinary Pharmaceuticals industry.
A minimum of 3 years in a regional or national sales leadership/management capacity.
Industry Knowledge: Deep, technical knowledge of poultry and livestock health, common diseases, nutrition, and the application of veterinary pharmaceuticals.
Sales Acumen: Proven track record of developing and executing successful national sales strategies and achieving challenging targets.
Communication & Leadership: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills (both English and local languages).
Key Competencies

Decisiveness: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.

Multan Based: Must be willing to be based in Multan, Pakistan.
