We are seeking a dynamic and technically-minded individual to join our team in Lahore. The Role: Technical Sales Officer (TSO) The Technical Sales Officer (TSO) for the Companion Group is a critical field-based role responsible for driving sales and market share of our companion animal product portfolio within the assigned territory of Lahore. This role requires a strong blend of sales acumen, technical knowledge (veterinary science, nutrition, or pharmacology), and excellent relationship-building skills. The TSO acts as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for veterinary clinics, pet hospitals, and key opinion leaders. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development: Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the companion animal product line (e.g., vaccines, therapeutics, supplements, diagnostics). Territory Management: Develop and execute a strategic territory plan for Lahore, including identifying high-potential veterinary clinics and pet retail outlets. Product Promotion: Effectively communicate the scientific and commercial value proposition of SNAM PHARMA’s products to veterinary professionals, emphasizing technical differentiation and clinical benefits. Order Management: Manage the sales cycle from initial contact and negotiation through to order placement and collection follow-up, ensuring an efficient supply chain. Technical & Educational Support: Technical Expertise: Maintain an in-depth, expert-level knowledge of companion animal diseases, pharmacology, nutrition, and all SNAM PHARMA products. Conduct Seminars: Organize and conduct technical presentations, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), and product detailing sessions for veterinarians and veterinary technicians. Problem-Solving: Serve as a technical resource to help clients address clinical and product-related challenges, positioning SNAM PHARMA as a trusted partner. Market Intelligence & Reporting: Market Feedback: Collect and relay actionable market intelligence, including competitor activities, product performance feedback, and emerging industry trends, back to the Marketing and Sales leadership. CRM Management: Utilize the company's CRM system to meticulously track client interactions, manage sales pipelines, and submit timely reports on sales activities and territory performance. Forecasting: Participate in sales forecasting and inventory planning for the Lahore territory. Required Qualifications Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM/RVMP), Animal Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related life science field is required. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in technical sales, detailing, or pharmaceutical sales, preferably within the Animal Health or Veterinary industry. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of companion animal anatomy, physiology, common pathologies, and the use of veterinary pharmaceuticals and nutritional products. Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to build rapport, negotiate, close sales, and manage a high-volume sales territory independently. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Urdu/local languages, with strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
