Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant—preferably holding a DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)—with proven expertise in the care and management of goats and sheep. The candidate will work on a farm/ranch in Saudi Arabia, providing daily healthcare support, disease management, vaccination, breeding assistance, and overall animal welfare.
This role also requires a valid driving license, as the position is officially recorded under the occupation “Driver.” Accommodation and a monthly salary are provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in diagnosing, treating, and managing common diseases in goats and sheep
Support vaccination programs and routine health checks
Monitor breeding cycles, reproductive health, and neonatal care
Maintain animal health records and daily reports
Assist in feeding, housing, and general farm management tasks
Transport animals or supplies as needed (driving duties)
Ensure proper hygiene and biosecurity practices on the farm
Coordinate with farm management for animal care plans
Perform emergency first aid when required
Requirements:
Proven experience working with goats and sheep
Strong knowledge of small-ruminant health, nutrition, reproduction, and disease control
DVM degree highly preferred (experienced veterinary assistants also considered)
Ability to work independently in a farm/ranch environment
Valid driving license (mandatory, occupation listed as Driver)
Arabic-speaking candidates preferred; English is an advantage
Must be available for immediate joining
