Veterinary Doctor (DVM)

A well-managed dairy farm located in Khanewal is seeking a qualified and responsible DVM Doctor to oversee herd health, breeding management, and nutritional planning. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience working with dairy animals and must be confident in providing both preventive and curative veterinary care. The selected candidate will play a key role in improving herd performance, reproductive efficiency, and overall farm productivity. This position offers an excellent opportunity for practical field experience in a structured dairy environment. Key Responsibilities Manage breeding programs, including heat detection, mating plans, and reproductive follow-up. Oversee daily health management of dairy animals. Diagnose diseases and administer appropriate treatment. Implement preventive health protocols (vaccination, deworming, hygiene checks). Monitor nutrition programs and advise on feed adjustments for better productivity. Maintain detailed health, breeding, and production records. Assist in calving, postpartum care, and neonatal calf management. Ensure proper farm biosecurity and animal welfare practices. Eligibility Criteria DVM degree (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) is mandatory. 1–2 years of practical experience in dairy farm breeding, health care, and nutrition. Ability to handle large animals confidently. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work on-site.
