2026 CAS–ANSO Scholarship for International Students

The CAS–ANSO Scholarship 2026 is now open for applications! This prestigious program was launched in 2019 with the goal of training and cultivating young scientists from around the world. It supports 100–200 Master’s students and 300 PhD students each year to pursue advanced studies in China. The scholarship is primarily sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Additionally, the ANSO–CAS–TWAS/UNESCO PhD Scholarship category provides special consideration to applicants from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and female scholars. Up to 40 PhD students from developing nations are selected annually under this category, jointly sponsored by TWAS/UNESCO. This program offers an incredible opportunity for global scholars to gain world-class education, engage in cutting-edge research, and become part of an international network of scientific excellence.
