Job Description
The Viology Lab and Arkansas Clean Plant Center (ACPC) at the University of Arkansas are seeking highly motivated graduate students to join their research team, starting in January 2026.
The research program focuses on several key areas within plant virology, including:
Reverse genetics approaches to study virus-host interactions.
Discovery and characterization of plant viruses.
Development of advanced diagnostic tools.
Epidemiology and management of virus diseases in specialty crops.
Clean plant initiatives to support growers and global agriculture.
Prerequisites for applicants include prior experience working in a plant virology laboratory and a high quantitative score on the GRE (or equivalent). Only applicants who meet these criteria will be considered.
