Fully Funded PhD Position at CABIMER

This is an advertisement for a fully funded 4-year PhD contract at the CABIMER (Centro Andaluz de Biología Molecular y Medicina Regenerativa) research institute in Seville, Spain. The position is available starting in early 2026 in the laboratory of Dr. Román González Prieto. The PhD project, titled PID2024-159761NB-I00 – Role of Ubiquitin and SUMO in Genome Biology, focuses on understanding how post-translational modifications regulate genome replication, stability, repression, and organization. Candidate Requirements: A motivated student with a degree in biology-related disciplines. Experience in the interphase between genomics and proteomics. Proficient in English. The ad also states that the successful candidate will join a Doctorate Program and have a European Union (EU) work permit and an official Master's degree.
