Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Natural Products Chemistry & Microbial Genomics

I am excited to share a new opportunity to join our team at The University of Queensland. We are looking for a passionate Postdoctoral Research Fellow to contribute to cutting-edge research in natural products chemistry and microbial genomics, with a focus on discovering new bioactive molecules from microbes. What you'll do: Drive innovative projects in microbial natural products discovery. Apply genomics and metabolomics approaches to unlock new chemical diversity to find new antibiotics. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists tackling the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance. Location: UQ St Lucia, Brisbane. Applications close: 17 September 2025.
