Bright white, fine substrate designed for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Key Features: • Excellent support for plant roots: this substrate features a grain size of 0.2-0.6mm, making it perfect for freshwater and marine aquariums as well as terrariums. • Promotes healthy plant growth: its fine granulation and density help to prevent sludge and waste material from permeating. • Safe for fish, invertebrates, and plants: contains no harmful pollutants that could leach into the water. The fine, rounded granite sand is gentle on the sensitive barbels of bottom-dwelling species. • Application: apply the substrate over a nutrient-rich base layer (approximately 6-8cm recommended for robust plant growth).
