Flourish Nitrogen is a highly concentrated (15,000 mg/L) mixture of nitrogen sources. It supplies nitrogen in both the nitrate form and the preferred ammonium form for plants. If you require smaller doses, keep in mind that each cap thread equals roughly 1mL. Expert The beginner dosage increases nitrogen by an amount equivalent to 1 mg/L nitrate. This amount can facilitate roughly 4g of dry growth or about 20g (hydrated) over the course of a month, provided all other essential nutrients are available. For enhanced growth, use a proportionately larger amount. To achieve a specific nitrogen increase, follow this formula: 0.25vn=m, where v represents the tank volume in gallons, n is the desired nitrogen increase (if using a "nitrate equivalent" for "n", apply a factor of 0.05 instead of 0.25 in the formula), and m is the product volume to be used in mL.
