Tylosin, a macrolide antibiotic, is active against particularly Gram-positive bacteria, some Spirochetes (including Leptospira); Actinomyces, Mycoplasmas, Haemophilus pertussis, Moraxella bovis and some Gram-negative cocci. After parenteral administration, therapeutically active blood concentrations of tylosin are reached within 2 hours.
Feeding & Usage Instructions
For intramuscular or subcutaneous injection.
Cattle : 0.5 ΓÇô 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight daily, during 3 ΓÇô 5 days.
Calves, sheep, goats : 0.3 ΓÇô 0.4 ml per 10 kg bodyweight daily, during 3 ΓÇô 5 days.
Pigs : 0.5 ΓÇô 0.75 ml per 10 kg bodyweight every 12 hours, during 3 days.
Dogs, cats : 0.5 ΓÇô 2 ml per 10 kg bodyweight daily, during 3 ΓÇô 5 days.
