FMO

FMO (Injection) is a potent combination of a bacteriostatic antibiotic and a least hepatotoxic, non-narcotic & anti-endotoxic NSAID. It binds irreversibly to receptors on the 30S sub-unit of the bacterial ribosome where it prevents the addition of amino acids to the elongating peptide chain and ultimately inhibits protein synthesis. Additionally, FMO works by reversibly inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase to decrease the formation of precursors of prostaglandins which are involved in central pyresis, pain perception and tissue inflammation. Indications: FMO鈥檚 spectrum of activity includes coverage against many aerobic Gram-negative & Gram-positive bacteria, Anaerobes as well as Protozoa. It is indicated in Actinobacillosis; Bacterial Arthritis; Bacterial Enteritis; Blackleg/Malignant Edema; Diphtheria; Leptospirosis; Mastitis; Peritonitis; Pneumonia, Bronchitis, Sinusitis and Bovine Respiratory Disease Complex; Skin and Soft tissue infections; Uterine infections; Anaplasmosis, Babesiosis, Theileriosis, Ehrlichiosis; Shipping Fever; Pink Eye; Foot Rot etc. Dosage & Administration: 1 ml per 10 Kg body weight intramuscularly in all species of animals. Precautions: Animal in late pregnancy should be handled wisely. Withdrawal period: Meat: 35 days Milk: 7 days Keep it below 25?C in cool and dark place. Keep it out of reach of children.
