INACTIVATED VACCINE AGAINST CLOSTRIDIOSIS IN SHEEP AND CATTLE Active against all the most important forms of clostridiosis Protects the flock for more than 6-8 months Side-effects are insignificant and of short duration Clostridiosis is a group of diseases supported by sporogenic and toxigenic bacteria belonging to the genus Clostridium and characterised by frequently lethal toxaemia. Clinical manifestations include enterotoxaemic, neurotoxic and gas gangrenous forms. CLOSTRIVAX is a polyvalent vaccine constituted by bacterial bodies and inactivated toxins, absorbed in aluminium hydroxide. Each active ingredient of the vaccine is individually produced, determined and dosed in order to confer efficacious protection against each pathological form. The distinct immunogenicity of bacterial antigens and toxoids readily induces a protective response which is then extended by successive boosters. INDICATIONS Prevention of diseases caused by Clostridium perfringens B, C and D, Clostridium novyi B and D, Clostridium chauvoei, Clostridium septicum and Clostridium tetani in cattle and sheep, including: enterotoxaemia, lamb dysentery, necrotic enteritis, pulpy kidney disease, infectious necrotic hepatitis, bacillary haemoglobinuria, red water disease, malignant edema, blackleg and tetanus.
