Marisil (Liquid) is a potent bacteriostatic agent that acts on susceptible bacteria by binding to 50S ribosomal subunits leading to the inhibition of peptidyl transferase and thereby preventing the transfer of amino acids to extending peptide chains and subsequent protein formation.
Indications:
Marisil (Liquid) has broad spectrum of activity which includes aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, which are either Gram-positive or Gram-negative. It is indicated for the treatment of Fowl Typhoid, Salmonellosis, Colibacillosis, Staphylococosis, Air Sacculitis, Colispeticemia and Chronic Respiratory Disease.
Dosage & Administration:
Poultry: 1 ml per 2 litre of drinking water for 3-5 days.
