Hydropericardium Syndrome (HPS) is viral problem inpoultry, whichis caused by Avian Adeno Type-4 virus and is more commonly known as HPS virus. It hits the bird at 18 to 55 days of age and cause serious damage to the liver and accumulation of yellow fluid in pericardium sac of the heart. Dead birds are usually found in dorsal recumbency. It can cause up to 100% morbidity and more than 50% mortality in poultry flocks. So far, Avian Adeno Type-4 virus is a serious threatto poultry. 0.25ml/bird in broiler and 0.3ml in breeders or layer pullets’ Subcutaneous S/C or Intramuscular I/M. OTTO FLU VAC Avian Influenza commonly known as Θêѵ╖Ävian FluΘêÑ∩┐╜is a viral problem caused by Orthomyxo viruses. It is characterized by sneezing, coughing,gasping, lacrimal and nasal discharge. The prominent postmortem lesions are petechial hemorrhages in trachea, mucoid filled naries, swelling of infraorbital sinuses up to neck and cyanosis of combs and wattles. Influenza in birds is caused by three genera of avian influenza viruses; A, B and C. However, Influenza A viruses are known to naturally infect birds. It can cause 100% morbidity and mortality up to 100%. So far, Avian Influenza H7 and H9 are serious threats to poultry. OTTO HPSVAC is prepared by indigenous isolate of Hydroperocardium Syndrome Virus; manufacturing processes are carried out by highly qualified professionals under sterile classified areas, which ensures safety, sterility and quality of the vaccine. Complete cold chain system is adopted for safe delivery of the vaccine. OTTO HPS VAC is registered with Health Authorities under Drug Act 1976.
