ALLIGASTRAN

Active compound of the mixture is tincture from common garlic (Allium sativum) of specified microbiological activity. Garlic tincture has antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and antiparasitic action. Garlic additionally activates activity of cells of the immune system, stimulates liver metabolism and improves digestion; lowers level of bad cholesterol, improves functioning of urinary tract, circulatory system and reduces platellet aggregation.Allicin (active substance in Alligastran) decrease adhesion of E. coli to mucosal membrane in gastro intestinal tract, and in this way is capable to reduce E.coli growth. Allicin also interfere with metabolism of bacteria but this effect is less known (described) in E. coli . In Poland we use Alligastrin during antibiotic therapy. We know that together with Alligastran can be used amoxicillin, doxycycline, lincomycin and enrofloxacin (in drinking water). We do not have observation concerning other antibiotics. Alligastron tincture has proven antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral (ND,IB, IBD, influenza etc) and antiparasitic action. Usage Alligastran together with H2O2 (as a mixture in water) is not possible, because H2O2 can destroy of allicin (in oxidation process)
