Encomix containing antibiotics can kill bacteria by inhibiting deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) gyrase (thus inhibiting both DNA & RNA Synthesis) and by penetrating into and disrupting the bacterial cell membrane results changing the bacterial cytoplasmic permeability respectively.
