Sedative, Analgesic and a muscle relaxant agent Xylazine Hydrochloride: ………...23.32 mg (Equivalent to 20.0 mg of xylazine) It is a sedative, analgesic and muscle relaxant agent that produces a state of numbness with a high level of analgesia. The degree of sedation and/or analgesia depends on the dose used. It is also indicated for the handling and transportation of animals. Cattle (Meat): Sedative agent and/or muscle relaxant in one dose: 0.10 - 0.33 mg/kg IM (0.5 - 1.65 mL per each 100 kg of body weight). Goats: Sedative agent and/or muscle relaxant in one dose: 0.10 - 0.22 mg/kg IM (0.1 - 0.22 mL per each 20 kg of body weight). Canines and Felines:Sedative agent and/or muscle relaxant in one dose: 1.1 mg/kg IV (0.55 mL per each 10 kg). 1.1 - 2.2 mg/kg IM or SC (0.55 - 1.1 mL per each 10 kg). As analgesic in one dose: 0.1 – 1 mg/kg IV, IM or SC (0.05 - 0.5 mL per each 10 kg of body weight).
