Mucolytic and expectorant Bromhexine hydrochloride ……………3 mg Vehicle q.s. ………………… 1 ml BROMHEXIN INJECTABLE is indicated as a mucolytic and expectorant for the respiratory tract, useful in both acute and chronic cases of bronchial hypersecretion. It enhances the expulsion of bronchial secretions, reduces mucus viscosity, and improves the secretolytic function of the respiratory airways. It is also an adjuvant in antibiotic treatments. Horses and cattle: 1 ml per 6 kg of body weight for 5 to 7 days (0.5 mg per kg of body weight).Calves and swine: 1 ml per 6 kg of body weight for 5 to 7 days (0.5 mg per kg of body weight).
