Its use in cats and dogs to treat bacterial infections in the ears is sometimes 'off label' or 'extra label'.
Gentamicin Sulfate Solution is recommended for the control of bacterial infections of the uterus (metritis) in horses and as an aid in improving conception in mares with uterine infections caused by bacteria sensitive to gentamicin.
Treatment of gastrointestinal, respiratory, reproductive, urinary infections such as enteritis, diarrhea, swollen head due to E.coli, pneumonia, sinusitis, mastitis, metritis in swine, cattle, poultry, dogs and cats by sensitive microorganisms to Gentamicin.
CONTRA-INDICATION:
Hypersensitivity to gentamycin.
Do not use for animals with impaired liver or kidney function.
WITHDRAWAL TIME:
Meat: 7 days; milk: 3 days.
