This product can be used in new or existing fresh and saltwater aquariums to transform highly toxic ammonia into nitrites and nitrites into nitrates. NITRIDAC actually causes the rapid degeneration of organic compounds reducing the build up of sediment or mud, restores aquarium walls and beds preventing the formation and growth of algae and also prevents an increase in nitrites.
