Dalmazin Injection 10 ml

Dalmazin contains only the purified dextrorotatory enantiomer and biologically active luteolytic component of racemic cloprostenol. Dalmazin is about 3.5 times more potent and better tolerated than racemic cloprostenol-based drugs and may be used without the risk of untoward side effects. During the luteinic phase of the oestrous cycle, Dalmazin determines a fall in the number of LH receptors in the ovary, which brings about rapid regression of the corpus luteum and a sharp fall in progesterone levels. The front lobe of the pituitary gland increases the release of FSH and permits the maturing of a new follicle, onset of oestrus and ovulation. INDICATIONS Oestrus induction and synchronization in cows. Induction of parturition in cows, sows and mares. Oestrus induction in the mare. Ovarian dysfunction in the presence of the corpus luteum: post-partum anoestrous condition, silent oestrus, irregular cycle and cycle without ovulation, persistent CL, luteal cysts. Endometritis, pyometra. Interruption of pregnancy (during first half), foetal mummification. Post-puerperal metritis, delayed uterine involution. Combined therapy of follicular cysts (combined with GnRH or HCG).
