Canvac R Injection 10 ml

The vaccine is designed for an active immunization of target species against rabies. Each one dose (1 ml) contains: Active substance: Virus rabiei inactivatum NLT 2 IU. Adjuvant: aluminium hydroxide gel 1.4 鈥�6.5 mg. Excipient: thiomersal NMT 0.1 mg Sufficient immunity develops over 2 to 3 weeks after the basic vaccination. After re-vaccination, the immunity persists for at least 1 year. Do not use in cases of an acute infectious disease, an organ and feverish disease, detection of an unfavorable post-vaccination reaction or allergy at former vaccinations and after stress imposed on animals (transportation, high environmental temperatures). Do not use at pregnant animals at a high stage of pregnancy and close after parturition. It is forbidden to immunize animals ill with rabies or animals, which have been in contact with or hurt by animals suffering from rabies. Animals, which injured the man, may be immunized only after the period of observation has elapsed.
