Used in treating mild to moderately severe forms of respiratory tract, skin, and soft tissue infections caused by group-A beta-hemolytic streptococci and mycoplasma pneumoniae. DOXYCYCLINE Doxycycline is a semi-synthetic bacteriostatic tetracycline and a broad-spectrum antibiotic against Gram-negative and Gram-posi-tive aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, Rickettsiae, Chlamydiae, Mycoplasma and some protozoa. COLISTIN Colistin is an antibiotic produced by certain strains of the bacteria paenibacillus polymyxa. Colistin is effective against most Gram-negative bacilli. PHENYLBUTAZONE Phenylbutazone is used as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for the treatment of chronic pain. BROMHEXINE Bromhexine is a mucolytic agent used in the treatment of respira-tory disorders associated with viscid or excessive mucus. Brom-hexine supports the body's own natural mechanisms for clearing mucus from the respiratory tract, it increases the production of serous mucus in the respiratory tract and makes the phlegm thinner and less sticky it has a secretomotoric effect which helps the cilia to transport the phlegm out of the lungs.
