Product Overview
The combination of penicillin and Streptomycin secures antimicrobial activity against the majority of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and is especially useful in mixed infections. Penivet is thus indicated for infections caused by mixed bacteria flora and particularly as initial therapies is case of severe infections of unknown aetiology when there is no time for pathological investigations. Animals tolerate well therapeutic doses and in general there are no side-effects if the treatment does not last too prolong.
