Ketopet Palatable 20 mg Oral Tablet

COMPOSITION Ketopet Patatable 20 mg Oral Tablet is a cream coloured, mottled, bone shaped tablet with a notch line in the middle. Each tablet contains 20 mg of ketoprofen. INDICATIONS FOR USE It is indicated for anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic purposes in dogs: – Pain, inflammation and rheumatic disorders of tendon and musculoskeletal system, aseptic joint inflammation (traumatic arthritis – synovitis, tendinitis, osteochondritis dissecans, osselets, laminitis), soft tissue swelling, easing the pain caused by post-operative inflammation – Respiratory system infections and other febrile diseases in association with hyperthermia, as supportive to antibacterial therapy, to resolve acute inflammation in endotoxic shock – Pain and colic caused by gastrointestinal system disorders ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS Administer orally to dogs at the dose of 1 mg ketoprofen / kg bw/day. Practically, 1 tablet per 20 kg bw is administered. Treatment should be continued for 5 days. Following the administration of Ketopet 1% Injectable Solution, treatment is continued with Ketopet Patatable 20 mg Oral Tablet for 5 days.
