Fiprojin 0.25% Skin Spray

COMPOSITION Fiprojin 0.25% Skin Spray is a colourless, clear solution with a characteristic odour. Each ml contains 2.5 mg of fipronil. INDICATIONS FOR USE It is indicated in cats and dogs in the treatment and control of infestations with fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.), ticks (Rhipicephalus spp., Dermacentor spp., Ixodes spp.), allergic dermatitis caused by fleas (FAD), biting lice (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus) and to assist the treatment of sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis) infestations. Fiprojin 0.25% Skin Spray is effective for approximately 2 months against fleas in dogs, approximately 5 weeks against fleas in cats and 1 month against tick infestations depending on the infestation intensity. Newly arrived fleas are killed within 24 hours. ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS Apply locally on the skin from 10 – 20 cm distance. Apply 3 – 6 ml (7.5 – 15 mg fipronil) for each kg bw, unless it is recommended otherwise by the veterinarian. For the application, spray is repelled 6 – 12 times per kg weight and adjusted according to body weight. The operator should make sure the skin is wet with the product. When applied on long-haired dogs and cats, it penetrates into the skin. Wait for it to dry naturally. Do not dry with a towel or similar materials.
