Spirotek Injectable Solution

COMPOSITION Spirotek Injectable Solution is a yellow or light yellow, clear and sterile solution. Each ml contains 600,000 IU of spiramycin. INDICATIONS FOR USE Used in cattle and calves for the treatment of following cases caused by sensitive bacteria. – Mastitis caused by staphylococci, streptococci and mycoplasmas – Foot rot – Respiratory system infections, enzootic pneumonia especially caused by Pasteurella and mycoplasmas – Arthritis – Metritis – Omphalitis and omphalophlebitis – Enteritis ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS Administer by deep intramuscular injection to cattle at the dose of 30,000 IU spiramycin / kg bw and to calves at the dose of 75,000 IU spiramycin / kg bw, unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian. Single administration is sufficient, however, if necessary, administration can be repeated 24 hours later. Practically; administer 5 ml / 100 kg bw to cattle, 5 ml / 40 kg bw to calves. WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S) Cattle should not be slaughtered during the treatment and for 21 days following the last treatment. Cow milk should not be used for human consumption during the treatment and for 7 days (14 milkings) following the last treatment.
