OXYCLOZANIDE IS A SALICYLANILIDE ANTHELMINTIC. IT IS USED IN THE TREATMENT AND CONTROL OF FASCIOLIASIS IN RUMINANTS MAINLY DOMESTIC ANIMALS SUCH AS CATTLE, SHEEP, AND GOATS. IT MAINLY ACTS BY UNCOUPLING OF OXIDATIVE PHOSPHORYLATION IN FLUKES.
COBALT COMPOUNDS ARE USED IN THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF COBALT DEFICIENCY DISEASES IN ALL FOOD PRODUCING SPECIES.IN RUMINANTS AND HORSES, COBALT ADMINISTERED VIA THE DIET IS FINALLY INCORPORATED INTO VITAMIN B12 BY THE MICROORGANISMS OF RUMEN AND CAECUM.
