It is important to maintain phosphorus levels along with nitrogen levels in order to allow for optimal growth and coloration of corals and macroalgae. Supplementing with Reef Phosphorus provides a targeted means of increasing phosphorus concentrations effectively without also adding dissolved organics. Reef Phosphorus is ideally suited for use with an aquavitro® sentiaâ„¢ dose doser to maintain phosphorus at consistent concentration based on your aquarium’s unique demand. Reef Phosphorusâ„¢ is easily dosed manually as well. Ideal phosphorus levels will vary but generally range from 0.02 – 0.05 mg/L phosphate. Reef Phosphorusâ„¢ contains 0.117% elemental phosphorus. Use Seachem’s Reef Nitrogenâ„¢ to achieve a balance of nitrogen and phosphorus levels for optimal results.
