Product Overview
Strepcillin Injection, combining penicillin and streptomycin, is used in cattle, horses, and sheep to treat infections from both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is effective against respiratory, urogenital, gastrointestinal, and systemic infections such as pneumonia, listeriosis, mastitis, salmonellosis, septicaemia, and mixed infections, ensuring broad-spectrum protection against susceptible organisms.
Feeding & Usage Instructions
The recommended daily dose for cattle, horses and sheep is 8mg procaine penicillin and 10mg dihydrostreptomycin sulphate per kg bodyweight achieved by administering 1ml Pen & Strep per 25kg bodyweight. The dose should be given once daily by deep intramuscular injection for up to three consecutive days. The maximum dose volume administered at one site should not exceed 15ml for horses, 6ml for cattle and 3ml for sheep.
