LINCOSPECTOMIX (Water Soluble Powder) Composition: Each gram contains: Lincomycin HCl (as base) B.R 鈥︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹��88mg Spectinomycin Sulfate tetrahydrate (as base) M.S.. 88mg Amoxicillin as Trihydrate B.P鈥︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹��00mg Vitamin E acetate B.P鈥︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹��30mg Description: Lincomycin: is an antibiotic effective in infections caused by gram positive bacteria specially Staphylococci spp. and streptococci spp.lt is effective in the treatment of upper respiratory infections, septicemia, infection of skin and adjoining tissues. Amoxicillin: Amoxcillin is rapidly absorbed after oral administration. lt demonstrates a low capacity for protein-binding and is widely distributed in various tissues after absorption. Amoxcillin is primarily excreted via the kidneys and circulated via the liver into the bile. Amoxcillin, like all beta lactam antibiotics, inhibits the bacterial cell wall by interfering with the final stage of peptidoglycan synthesis. Amoxcillin inhibits the activity of the transpeptidase and other peptidoglycan active enzymes with catalyze the cross linkage of the glycopetides polymer units. This leads to rupture of the cytoplasmic membrane. The drug exerts its bactericidal action only in growing cell that undergoing cell wall synthesis. Spectinomcin: is effective against gram positive and gram negative. lt has very useful activity against mycoplasmosis which are of importance in poultry chronic respiratory disease. The activity of Spectinomycin against most bacteria and mycoplasma is bacteriostatic. The protein binding is low (less than 10%) and lipid solubility is also low. This property reduces tissue penetration and concentrations of Spectinomycin in tissue fluid are much less than those found in plasma. Vitamin-E Vitamin-E is very much effective to cure the problems of encephalomalacia, muscular dystrophy and exudative diathesis. In layers it also inhance the egg laying ability and boost the immunity of chicks. Indications: Lincospectomix is indicated for treatment and prevention of C.R.D, C.C.R.D, Fowl Cholera, Fowl Typhoid, Salmonella spp, Infectious Coryza, Enteritis, Early chick mortality, and other respiratory tract infections.
