FIPROES DOG- Ectoparasitic (Insecticide - Acaricide) Spot-on Solution long-acting ectoparasiticide ( For ticks, lice & fleas control ) 3 doses Brand: Fiproes dog Species : Dogs Type: Cleaning & Odour Control Supplies Sub Type : Flea & Tick Cleaners COMPOSITION Fiproes Dog Spot-on Solution is a yellow or bright yellow coloured, clear solution with a specific odour. Each ml contains 100 mg of fipronil and 90 mg of (S)-methoprene. INDICATIONS FOR USE In dogs, in the treatment and control of flea (Ctenocephalides spp.), ticks (Rhipicephalus spp., Dermacentor spp., Ixodes spp.), biting lice (Trichodectes canis), for the control of allergic dermatitides (FAD); to prevent the development of eggs, larvae and pupa of fleas. Multiple applications on a monthly basis are advised to eliminate mites properly. Fiproes Dog Spot-on Solution is effective for 2 months on mature, larvae or pupa forms of flea and flea eggs and 1 month against ticks, depending on the infestation intensity. Newly arrived fleas are killed within 24 hours. ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS Unless recommended otherwise by the veterinarian, general pharmacological doses in dogs are 6.7 mg/kg for fipronil and 6 mg/kg for (S)-methoprene. Drug application is performed by dropping onto the skin locally. The practical dose table is as follows: Species Fiproes Dog Spot-on Solution Dogs (2 - 10 kg) 0.67 ml Dogs (10 - 20 kg) 1.34 ml Dogs (20 - 40 kg) 2.68 ml Dogs (40 - 60 kg) 4.02 ml Application: Hold the pipette upright and twist to open. Part the coat on the back of the animal at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze 1 – 2 drops or along a short line onto the skin. To avoid the coat becoming greasy, pay attention to the hair so it does not to get wet with the solution. If this kind of case occurs, the stickiness will disappear within 24 hours after the application. WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S) Do not use in animals producing food or milk for human consumption.
