Product Overview
Levozan Plus contains three ingredients that offer broad-spectrum anthelmintic activity with a faster growth process. Levamisole is the levoisomer of Tetramisole. Peak blood levels are achieved within 1-3 hours of administration. It is active against and wide range of important nematode species in ruminants such as Haemonchus spp, Trichostrongyles spp, Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp., Marshallagia marshallis, Bunostomum spp., Neoascaries vitulorum, Chabertia ovina, Oesophagostomum spp., Dictyocaulus spp., thelazia spp., Oxyclozanide reaches high concentrations in the liver, kidney, and intestines and is excreted as glucuronide in the bile. It is useful in the control of fasciola hepatica in cattle, sheep, and goats. At three times the therapeutic dose, Oxyclozanide is safe and effective against immature fluke. The addition of Cobalt results in a marked increase in vitamin B-12 activity.
