OTTO HPS VAC O/B Hydropercardium syndrome (HPS) is viral problem of poultry which is caused by Avian Adeno Type-4 virus and commonly known as HPS virus. It hits the birds at 18 to 55 days of their age and cause serious damage to the liver and accumulation of yellow fluid in pericardium sac of the heart. Dead birds are usually found in dorsal recumbency. It can cause up to 100% morbidity and more than 50% mortality in poultry flocks. So far, Avian Adeno Type-4 virus is a serious threat to poultry.
