Product Overview
Indication: Diclostar Injection is a strong and safe non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which is used for the treatment of Arthritis, Bursitis, osteo- arthritis, periostitis, Tendinitis, Tendosynovitis and Myostitis. Diclostar Super (Meloxicam) is non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It has analgesic and antipyretic properties also. Diclostar Super (Meloxicam) an oxicam derivative is reported to be preferential in hibitor of cyclo-oxygenase-2(cox-2). Diclostar Super (Meloxicam) 99% bounds to plasma proteins.(Meloxicam) has a plasma elimination half life of approximately 20 hours. It is extensively metabolised mainly by oxidation and excreted in similar amounts in the urine and in the faeces.
Feeding & Usage Instructions
Deep intramuscular route: Goats & Sheep: 2.5ml per 50 kg body weight. Calves: 5ml per 100 kg body weight. Cattle: 15ml per 300 kg body weight. Buffaloes: 20ml per 400 kg body weight. Camel & Horses: 25ml per 500 kg body weight.
