Product Overview
Sulphadimidine is use both orally & parenterally to treat a variety of conditions including local lesions such as footrot & systemic disease disease such as shipping fever. This is excreted relatively slow which reduces the possibility of crystalluria. Sulphadiazine is the first pyrmidine Sulphonamide & although absorbed more rapidly but has an elimination half life of about 3 hours in cattle. Sulphathiazole sodium is meant of oral use & has been included for strengthen the potency of the three Sulphonamides for rapid & effective actions.
Feeding & Usage Instructions
75 mg per body weight in large animals 10 – 150 mg per kg body weight in poultry in two equal daily doses or 1 gm may be mixed in 2 litters of drinking water.
